Our story

Joyful Coffee is a small family operation based in Covington, IN. The owner, Tony Acord, got started roasting coffee during his time in Culinary Arts school and fell in love with the process. Today, Tony is a Pastor and a Barista Guild of America certified barista who has 15 years experience with coffee both as a barista and a roaster. We want to roast some of the finest coffees in the world and bring them from the farm to your cup!

We work with some of the best green coffee importers in the U.S. to bring you their finest Arabica green offerings from farms that they’ve often visited. We then, roast them in our small batch roaster to what we believe is the ideal roast level for maximum flavor and enjoyment!
